Terms & Conditions
The Hickory Top Polo Classic is presented and operated by Hickory Top Farm. By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Event Admission
All guests must present a valid ticket for entry. Each ticket admits one guest unless otherwise specified. Ticket holders must follow all event guidelines, venue policies, and instructions provided by event staff and security.
2. Ticket Policy & Refunds
All ticket sales are final.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event date is officially changed by the organizers.
In the event of a date change, ticket holders will be notified and offered the option to transfer their tickets to the new date. Refunds will only be issued if a rescheduled date cannot be attended and a refund request is submitted within the stated timeframe.
No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, personal scheduling conflicts, or failure to attend.
3. Weather & Outdoor Event Disclaimer
The Hickory Top Polo Classic is an outdoor event. The event will proceed rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by event organizers. In the case of severe weather or safety concerns, adjustments to scheduling, match play, or programming may occur at the discretion of Hickory Top Farm.
4. Photography & Media Release
By attending the Hickory Top Polo Classic, you acknowledge and agree that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured throughout the event.
These images and recordings may be used by Hickory Top Farm and its partners for marketing, promotional, archival, press, and advertising purposes across digital, print, and social media platforms without compensation or further notice.
5. Hospitality, Alcohol & Conduct
Guests attending hospitality tents, receptions, or areas with open bar service must be 21 years of age or older and may be required to present valid identification.
Hickory Top Farm reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate manner.
Disorderly conduct may result in removal from the event without refund.
6. Tailgating & Lawn Seating
Guests with Tailgate or Lawn Patron tickets are responsible for their own setup within designated areas. All tents, décor, and equipment must remain within assigned spaces and must not obstruct views, walkways, or safety routes.
Open flames, unauthorized structures, and unsafe equipment are prohibited.
7. Animals & Safety
This event takes place on active equestrian grounds. Guests must remain aware of horses, players, and match play at all times.
Do not approach horses, players, or restricted field areas unless authorized.
Hickory Top Farm is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow posted safety instructions or staff guidance.
8. Liability Waiver
By attending the event, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with outdoor sporting and equestrian events, including but not limited to weather conditions, uneven terrain, and proximity to horses and polo play.
Hickory Top Farm, its staff, sponsors, volunteers, and partners shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or theft of personal property during the event.
9. Parking & Personal Property
Guests park and attend at their own risk. Hickory Top Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
10. Event Modifications
Hickory Top Farm reserves the right to modify event programming, match schedules, hospitality offerings, and venue layout as needed due to operational, safety, or weather-related circumstances.
11. Prohibited Items
The following items may be restricted or prohibited:
Weapons of any kind
Illegal substances
Drones (without prior written approval)
Professional filming equipment without media credentials
12. Right of Refusal
Hickory Top Farm reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest who violates these Terms & Conditions or engages in behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.
